NEWS & EVENTS
The coming Year 2007 CSUN will be another remarkable event for Telesensory products. After keeping silent for the last two years, Insiphil has decided to launch its new product with The Bookbinder Group, the distribution partner of Insiphil. This new product comes with a design revolution, moving away from the conventional outlook of being heavy desk-bounced equipment. It is an add on, as a “transportable” version to the Telesensory range of equipment for visually impaired people. Thus, Telesensory products cover from handheld (Pico), portable (Olympia), desktop (the Aladdin series) to transportable (the Vertex series).
Yes, this new transportable product is named as Vertex-1. Since the acquisition of Telesensory business, Insiphil has embarked efforts in improving the performances of its camera, CRT and LCD module. Much effort has been made to understand the needs of the present generation of visually impaired as well as their new needs. Over the last two years, new cameras and LCD panels have been developed to support the manufacturing of Vertex products and the new portable products (to be launched within the next nine months).
Vertex has been developed to meet the needs of being transportable “from place to place, from time to time and from person to person”. In other words, it is to serve visually impaired people who need to carry it around for work, study and to places they desired to be at. At 10 kgs or less, Vertex will allow all these to happen and still perform well as a desktop equipment. Professionals, students and visually impaired people with high mobility would certainly like Vertex not only being portable, but the Quality image and other new innovative features.
